2017 will be as incredible as the GOALS you set for it!

We are just days away from the start of a brand New Year! And with the New Year comes a new chance to start fresh with a set of goals you want to accomplish in 2017…that’s right…its time to bust out the glue stick and scissors because it’s time to make your 2017 Goal Poster!

I’ve written about Goal Posters many times in the past. Here are some links to just a few of the articles and blogs I’ve written about my Goal Posters in the past if you want to learn more about them and hear how they have brought serious Magic into my life. They haven’t just brought Magic into my life, they have also brought Magic into the lives of everyone I know who has made one of their own…

Along with my life Goal Poster with the big things I want to accomplish, each New Year I like creating a smaller Goal Poster with goals I want to accomplish within that new year. In the past I used to just write my one year goals in a list but I have found that the years I make a visual Goal poster  of my one-year goals instead of just doing a written list I seem to accomplish even more of the goals in that year.

We only have a few more days to go before January 1st is of 2017 is here. Take a few minutes this week to at a minimum, write down your one-year goals, or even better, cut out images and glue stick them onto a board or find digital images and turn them into a digital collage that you can make the screensaver for your laptop with all of the one-year goals you want to accomplish as your 2017 Goal Poster.

Set Goals that get you EXCITED to get out of bed every morning and that get you FIRED UP to want to hit the ground running every single day!

As you sit down to set your goals remember this – 2017 will be as incredible as the goals you set for it!!

I am now inspired to try a different tactic this year. I would rather be excited about what gets me up in the morning than dread what keeps me up all night. I know putting goals in writing is a way to make that happen, but I don’t do well at it. At least not so far. 2017 will be different.

I want & need to do this, as I am a visual person, but I do need some guidance. Most of my goals for 2017 are more in the character building realm. For example, one of my biggest issues is trusting in God’s customized challenges and His path for me. I tend to “shrink” away when the pain comes, but all growth involves soul stretching, which entails discomfort. What kind of visual would work for this? Thanks!!!!!

I would suggest a picture of a beautiful path lined by flowers or trees – something that visually reminds you that he is guiding your path. You could also put a picture of the Savior on it as a visual. Hope that helps!
