This weekend my husband and I have had the privilege of coming together with our friends, Charles and Liz Koch, along with many other absolutely incredible philanthropic leaders as part of The Seminar Network, a group of individuals who have chosen to work together to accomplish some truly amazing things in philanthropy.

What makes this group of people so amazing is that even though each person in The Network has the means to do awesome charitable work on their own, we’ve chosen to come together because we have all come to recognize that through working together we are able to amplify both our impact and our outcomes more than tenfold.  Working together, learning from one another with what has worked and what hasn’t worked, sharing our resources and the tools we’ve created, exchanging new ideas, helping one another, and partnering with each other we can run so much faster and accomplish so much more than we ever could before.

The Seminar Network is about being part of something bigger than ourselves.  Its about setting aside our differences and choosing to focus on the things we all have in common – which is the desire to make this world a better place for everyone.  Just take a look for yourself and see some of the amazing work we are doing together  (its a quick 3 minute video that is worth the watch):
