An Opportunity To Re-evaluate

Life can seem really complex any particular moment and when we are in the thick of things its easy to get overwhelmed. It’s also easy to get so busy that you don’t even realize how much time you are spending on one thing or another and before you know it you are so busy going going going that you haven’t even stopped to check if the road you are going down is still taking you to the destination you’d set out for.

One thing the last nine months has done is point out the fact that – life is uncertain, circumstances can change drastically at any time, and we shouldn’t take anything or anyone for granted. Being hit with the reality of those facts has provided all of us an opportunity to re-evaluate what our priorities are and consider what we ought to change about them…its provided us an opportunity to consider how we’ve spent our time and relook at whether we ought to be spending it differently….it’s given us a reason to really re-evaluate everything.

“It’s one thing to set a goal. It’s another, however, when you get so caught up in the details that you neglect to review your progress. Re-evaluation enables you to improve your aim to ensure you hit your target.”  – Susan Young

Sometimes the best thing we can do is take a step back and give ourselves a chance to breathe.  And when you’ve caught your breathe, re-evaluate where you are, what matters most, and what to change to find the fulfillment you seek.
