There is something incredible about creating.  I don’t know exactly how to describe the feeling, but when you are in the process of creating something there is an excitement and an energy that is so amazing to get caught up in and be a part of. It’s that ability to take something that is seemingly insignificant and turn it into something incredible. It’s the ability to see a blank canvas and turn it into a beautiful work of art. It’s the ability to nurture and foster something through a process of growing it into full bloom.  It’s seeing all these moving parts and recognizing how you could bring them together to make something that when combined turns into something truly amazing. I LOVE THAT FEELING!

All of us are creators in one way or another. Some create art. Some create music. Some create buildings. Some create companies. Some create an experience. We all have the ability to create beautiful things if we choose to.

What differentiates an average creation from a magnificent creation is the tiny little details. If you really consider things are true works of art you will see that the artist or the craftsman has paid attention to even the very smallest of details.

I love beautiful cars so when a discovery channel show came on recently that walked through the making of a Bentley automobile I was hooked. As I watched that episode it was so easy to see exactly why that car is so incredible to look at and to drive. They have literally paid attention to every single teeny tiny detail, all the way to each tiny stitch on the leather seats. No detail was considered too small to be important. Every detail matters.

We are all meant to be creators. So as we create we need to remember to pay attention to the details. We need to be relentlessly focused on them! And our end result will be a true masterpiece.
