Children are Happy Because

“Children are happy because they don’t have a file in their minds called, “All the Things That Could Go Wrong.”  – Marianne Williamson

That is SO TRUE!  You don’t see little kids worried about what could go wrong!  They are far too busy being focused on what they plan to accomplish.  Kids create, they get dirty, the run, they play, they laugh, they smile, they dance, they learn, they try!

They don’t see or think about the negatives. When it rains they simply see mud puddles waiting to be jumped in.  When it snows they see snowmen waiting to be built.

They don’t care what other people think.  They don’t care at all if their outfit matches. They simply wear whatever is their favorite and they wear it with confidence and pride.

They don’t care if something is beyond their skill set and they certainly don’t care about being seen as failures.  If they want to play baseball they are going to play it, even if they have no idea what direction to run around the bases.  All that matters it they are doing something fun.

They don’t care if their meal is served on fine china with linen napkins. Heck they will eat their food right off the floor.  So long as it tastes good they are happy.

Kids don’t pass judgment on other people.  They assume everyone is great until someone informs them otherwise.

We could learn so many lesson from children.  Today’s challenge is to BE MORE LIKE CHILDREN!!! Play, have fun, don’t judge, smile, be positive, dance, run, imagine, laugh….have a great day!
