Fresh Air And Sunshine Are Good For The Soul

“Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat.”  – Laura Ingalls Wilder

I’ve been so focused on getting my home organized the last few weeks that I had forgotten how good it feels just to step outside and feel the sunshine on your face. After another long day of working inside my daughter convinced me tonight that I need to come outside on a quick bike ride around the neighborhood with her.

It only took a few moments of being outside in the spring air for me realize how much I have missed being outdoors.  I’ve been so focused on getting things accomplished indoors that I’d forgotten how good it feels to go outside and breathe in the fresh air. It was a reminder I definitely needed…

There is something so refreshing to the soul about being outside and taking in the beauty of springtime.  And while I am glad I’ve been getting a lot done indoors, tonight’s little ride around the neighborhood reminded me that its important to spend a little time outdoors as well. Go outside – it’s good for the soul 🙂
