Life is too short,

Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness.

Laugh when you can,

Apologize when you should,

And let go of what you can’t change.

Love deeply and forgive quickly.

Take chances.  Give everything

And have no regrets.

Life is too short to be unhappy.

You have to take the good with the bad,

Smile when you’re sad,

Love what you got

and always remember what you had.

Always forgive but never forget.

Learn from your mistakes,

But never regret.

That is exactly the pick-me-up poem I needed to hear today. And I’m grateful for the reminder that there is far too much to love about life to ever allow yourself to get distracted by a petty person or get down about situations you cannot change.

Each of us is the landlord of our own mind – we get to decide what thoughts are allowed to live there and what thoughts aren’t welcome. So give any negative thoughts a good swift kick to the curb because they don’t deserve to dwell in your fine establishment 🙂

Life goes on and happiness is a choice. BE HAPPY!
