Life is Like a Camera…

When I was wandering the streets of Europe on a recent trip I came across a little shop that had the cutest saying posted in their window. I liked it so much I had to snap a photo of it so I could be sure to remember it.  Here is what the sign said:

Life is like a camera…

Focus on what’s important

Capture the good times,

Develop from the negatives,

And if things don’t work out,

Take another shot.

I don’t even know what I can add to that awesome quote! It is such a great way to look at life, ya know? It totally reminded me of how we need to look at our lives.  If we focus on what really matters in life and brush off the stuff that just doesn’t matter; and if we really appreciate the good times and cherish each special moment of time we are given in this life; and when things go wrong the only positive thing we can really do is to grow from the experiences and allow them to make us into better people going forward; and when it doesn’t work out the way we want…well get back up and try again because that is the only way we can move forward and be successful in this life.

LOVE IT!  What a great attitude to have about how to face life. Hope it inspires you as much as it did me. Have an awesome day everyone! And smile cause the sun is shining and that is a glorious thing 🙂

I ran across your blog when searching for my quote “Life is like a camera…..” I am the author of this quote as it was originally written. (It has been changed or expanded upon over the years.) I am glad you like it and shared it. Someday I hope to find it somewhere in a little shop while strolling on a street in Europe also! It still remains one of my most popular ones and I feel it is the best way to live your life…focusing only on what is important. You can see more of my quotes on my Facebook page “Linda Poindexter Quotes”.Thanks for sharing this on your blog. Linda Poindexter
