Nothing Good Happens Until You Let It

Nothing good happens until you let it. That’s the thought that came into my head today. The reason? Well, I was about to embark on a bit of an adventure and I was feeling all kinds of nervous about it. To put it more bluntly, I was downright afraid…afraid of the unknown…afraid of the what if’s…afraid of stepping into unfamiliar territory…

And then that thought came in my head – nothing good can happen until you let it. And obviously letting it requires that I be willing to take a step into the unknown. Darn that unknown! Why does it always have to be so scary! I mean really, what’s the worst that can happen? Actually, maybe I shouldn’t have asked that question…oh heavens…

Then there was that thought again – nothing good can happen until you let it…

I’ve decided to put on my big girl panties, to take a deep breath, to tell myself to calm down, and I’m inviting all the what-if thoughts in my head to kindly exit stage left. I’m letting them know that the show is about to begin and I’ve come to the decision that they are no longer going to be starring in it with me, cause this is MY theater and it’s MY play, which means I GET TO DECIDE whose gonna be on that stage!!

“Something GOOD…could you please report to stage…I’d like you to be the co-star in my grand adventure this week!” And with that…the play can begin…

Invite something good to co-star with you this week in your adventures. And remember, it’s your stage and your play, so get out there and SHINE!
