One of the reasons I love this time of year most is all the amazing carols and music for the holiday season. I LOVE great music and amazing singers and I love it when they share their talent of singing for the world.

I have nothing but respect for people who have a talent that they develop and grow and share it with the world.  It doesn’t matter if it’s music, or dance, or art, or public speaking, or poetry, or playing an instrument, or helping others in need, or cooking, or sewing, or sculpting, or sports, or writing, or smiling, or business, or whatever their talent is.  When you see people pour their heart and soul into being the very best at something it is truly inspiring!   I honestly walk away wanting to be better myself because someone else has inspired me with their own talents.  And to all of you reading this I can say with surety that every one of you has a God given talent you have been gifted with.  Use it.  Grow it.  Share it!  And don’t ever take it for granted.  God gave it to you so that you could inspire everyone around you.  There is no such thing as a person without a talent.  Every person has one, even if they haven’t realized what that talent is yet.  For some, your talent is obvious, such as the young man whose video I have inserted below with his incredible ability to sing (it will blow your mind to hear!).  For others it is less obvious, like someone who is a good listener, or someone who is a supportive friend.  Whether your talent is outward and obvious, or inward and obscure, the fact is that you have one, and God gave it to you because He knew you could do something special with it.  He knew that you and you alone would change the world with it, so do it!

My husband and I love the television show The Voice because we love hearing people share their singing talent. It is truly inspiring. This young man sang the other night on the show and it literally blew us away when we heard him. Talk about someone with a true God given talent to share with the world, and I for one am so incredibly grateful that he is sharing it with all of us! Trust me…you want to watch this…amazing! ….Dang I wish I could sing like that!!!
