What motivates me more than anything and gets me super excited to work my tail off and give my absolute all to something is knowing people have placed their trust in me and me not wanting to let their trust down. When people are placing trust in me its like I’m being given a supercharged shot of boundless energy that helps me pull off some truly amazing things. That trust ends up being the motivating power that helps me move heaven and earth as I try to make those who’ve trusted me proud.

In situations where people aren’t giving me that trust it makes me sad and the joy of doing things gets sucked away. I feel my energy being sapped away and it creates a constant heaviness in my heart. Work becomes drudgery and the motivation dwindles.

Discovering that trust is what motivates me has been so helpful in allowing me to recognize what I need in order to excel and feel happiest. For me that means being wise enough to only give my time and energy to situations where I get that motivating power of trust.
