There is always some sadness in every ending and some excitement in every beginning

I can’t believe summer is over and everyone is starting back to school. I’m sure many parents out there have mixed feelings about their kids starting back again, and I’m sure some of the kids have mixed feelings about going back as well. I’m sure we all feel some sadness that summer is over and our fun vacations and lazy days at the pool are coming to an end. But hopefully, we all feel the excitement of a new school year beginning.

There is always some sadness in every ending and some excitement in every beginning.

Yes the summer is over and there is definitely some sadness in seeing it come to an end. But we shouldn’t let ourselves get too sad about that because with the start of a new school year comes always means the excitement of starting a new beginning. It’s the chance to make some new friends, the fun of going to football games, and many new opportunities to learn and grow. So we should all look forward…we should all be excited for what lies ahead…and we should all use this opportunity to start anew, doing things better than ever before…yes, this is a perfect time for a new beginnings:

New Beginnings (by Helen Steiner Rice)

How often we wish for another chance
to have a fresh beginning
A chance to blot out our mistakes
and change failure into winning.

It does not take a new year
to make a brand new start.
It only takes the deep desire
to try with all your heart.

To live a little better
and to always be forgiving
To add a little sunshine
to the world in which we are living.

So, never give up in despair
and think that you are through,
For there’s always a tomorrow
and a chance to start anew.

Make it a great new beginning this week!

Love your ‘new’ post, Amy. Helen Steiner Rice was my mom’s favorite poet.

    Yes!
