We are the only one who can make our dreams come true

“I want to remember that no one is going to make my dreams come true for me…it is my job to get up every day and work towards the things that are deepest in my heart…and to enjoy every step of the journey rather than wishing I was already where I want to end up.”   -unknown

Sometimes we feel stuck…we start to wonder why our dreams aren’t coming true…and we wait…we wait for something to drop in our laps or someone to knock on our door…and we sit and wonder why our dreams still aren’t coming true.

If we want our dreams to come true we have to get off our behinds and start doing something that will MAKE our dreams come true. We have to come up with a plan and set goals that will help us achieve that plan. And then we have to get to work. Not just for a day or a week or a month but for as long as it takes to accomplish our dream. We need to treat making our dreams come true as our actual job – we need to show up on time, put in a full effort, learn from our mistakes, review our performance, pivot when necessary, and track our progress each day. And then when each workday is over we need to take a break from our job to sit back and relax, have a little fun, enjoy our families, and then get a good night’s sleep so we can wake up tomorrow refreshed and ready to get back to work at the job of making our dreams come true.

Enjoy every step of today’s journey!
