You Have Been Assigned This Mountain To Show Others It Can Be Moved

“You have been assigned this mountain to show others it can be moved.” – unknown

Lately troubles seem to travel into my life in packs. No sooner do I start working to solve one problem when another two or three have already reared their ugly head, and before I can take a breath there’s this huge mountain of troubles stacked up in front of me needing to be handled.  After another long day of troubleshooting only to find that the mountain had only grown bigger I wanted to yell SERIOUSLY?????!!!”  Man I wish life would cut me a little slack right now…

There are times its hard not to wonder why we get handed the mountains that we do. Sometimes problems are a result of some else’s mistakes. Other times they are a result of our own mistakes. Some problems come in order to teach us something or to help us overcome a weakness we may have. And some times problems are given to us just so we can show others that they can be moved…

So how do you move a mountain?  I suppose the answer is to just keep moving one stone at a time.  Giving up certainly isn’t going to move it.  And on days when it seems that mountain isn’t getting any smaller try and remember that someone else out there is struggling too and they need you to stay strong so you can help them keep faith that if they just keep going they will be able to move their mountain too.
