{"id":10537,"date":"2019-01-22T20:15:37","date_gmt":"2019-01-23T02:15:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/?p=10537"},"modified":"2019-01-22T20:22:58","modified_gmt":"2019-01-23T02:22:58","slug":"insanely-exciting-news-bust-out-the-pink-bling-and-sparkles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/insanely-exciting-news-bust-out-the-pink-bling-and-sparkles\/","title":{"rendered":"Insanely Exciting News &#8211; Bust out the pink bling and sparkles!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Several months ago the day after we\u2019d spent time together as a family (with my two kids and their spouses and our grandbaby) my husband said, \u201cI think we are going to be grandparents again.\u201d\u00a0 \u201cOf course we will be\u201d I replied with certainty given all the incentives I\u2019ve thrown out to bribe my children to each produce 8 grandchildren for me so I can have 16 grandbabies to be able to fill the kids bunk beds I built into the basement of our home I designed. My husband responded, \u201cNo I think our daughter-in-law is already pregnant again.\u201d I told him I had thought that same thing myself but I had asked the kids that question and they had told me repeatedly that she wasn\u2019t yet and they were going to wait for a bit longer to try.\u00a0 \u201cI know they told you that but I\u2019m just telling you I\u2019ve got a really strong feeling she\u2019s already pregnant.\u201d\u00a0 I immediately got on my cell phone and called my son Dalton \u2013 \u201cARE YOU GUYS PREGNANT?\u201d\u00a0 I asked.\u00a0 \u201cIf we are that would be a surprise to me!\u201d Dalton replied acting totally shocked at the thought. \u201cWell your Dad said he has a feeling you guys are.\u201d I said. \u00a0His reply was that his wife better not be because they had planned to wait a while to try again.<\/p>\n<p>So being a trusting mother of my son I got off the phone with my son and told my husband., \u201cSee, they aren\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward a few months to the week after Christmas to find me and my husband at my son\u2019s Dalton\u2019s condo playing cards with my daughter Ashley and her husband. Suddenly my son Dalton walks into the room and throws something down on the table \u2013 here\u2019s a video his wife was shooting that shows what happened next:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-m-aRUc2G4I\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Those sneaky little sneaks had been keeping her pregnancy secret from everyone until they could find out the sex of the baby!\u00a0 And come to find out the day I called my son on the phone asking if they were pregnant they had just gotten confirmation that she was pregnant so my son shared how shocked he was that we called them so quickly after they found out!<\/p>\n<p>I realize in the video it might sound harsh that I was calling my son a liar, but in all fairness &#8211; he did lie to his sweet trusting mother&#8230;little punk! But I&#8217;m gonna forgive them because I\u2019M GONNA BE A GLAM-MA TIMES TWO!!!!\u00a0 AND IT\u2019S A GIRL!!!!!! My very first grandbaby girl!!!!
