{"id":10834,"date":"2019-04-01T23:42:04","date_gmt":"2019-04-02T05:42:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/?p=10834"},"modified":"2019-04-01T23:42:19","modified_gmt":"2019-04-02T05:42:19","slug":"april-fools-day-funny-advertising-pranks-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/april-fools-day-funny-advertising-pranks-today\/","title":{"rendered":"April Fool\u2019s Day Funny Advertising Pranks Today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today was April Fools and as always, pranksters were out in full force.\u00a0 Some of the funnier pranks I saw today that at least gave me a good laugh were in the form of funny advertisements that were put out today.\u00a0 Here are a few of the ones that gave me a good laugh:<\/p>\n<p>Pizza Huts announced a new program to deliver pizzas &#8211; the Pizza M.U.T.T. delivery team (mini urban transportation team) &#8211; pizza delivery via dogs shown in <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pizzahut\/status\/1112731368407076865\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this<\/a> twitter feed:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10835\" src=\"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/pizza-hut-dog.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"632\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/pizza-hut-dog.png 559w, https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/pizza-hut-dog-142x200.png 142w, https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/pizza-hut-dog-214x300.png 214w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Powell\u2019s bookstore in Portland Oregon rolled out a city-wide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.powells.com\/cantaloupe#melon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">book sharing program<\/a> where you simply put an orange flag in your book and leave it laying around anywhere in the city for the next reader to pick it up. They said that all the condiments were rotated 180\u00b0 to redistribute the weight of the sandwich and make it more comfortable when held in the left hand in order to please their 1.4 million left-handed burger connoisseurs served each day. Burger King\u2019s vice president of marketing at the time, Jim Watkins, called this new product the ultimate \u2018have it your way\u2019 for left-handed customers.\u00a0 &#8230;.okay, that is FUNNY!<\/p>\n<p>I think the best way to win people over is to make them LAUGH!\u00a0 Life is so serious already&#8230;what we need is MORE LAUGHTER!<\/p>\n<p>I love it when someone makes me laugh in my day. Try to find a way to make someone else laugh today.
