{"id":11434,"date":"2019-07-18T16:27:37","date_gmt":"2019-07-18T22:27:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/?p=11434"},"modified":"2019-07-18T16:27:54","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T22:27:54","slug":"enjoy-the-moment-with-your-full-focus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/enjoy-the-moment-with-your-full-focus\/","title":{"rendered":"Enjoy The Moment With Your Full Focus"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I\u2019m one of those people that when I know I have something\ncoming due in the future, that I haven\u2019t had time to do yet, it weighs on me\nlike a big ball of stress just waiting to smack me in the gut. &nbsp;I find I have a hard time relaxing and enjoying\nanything if there is some project coming due that I haven\u2019t gotten all handled\nyet. And because my life is crazy busy and I\u2019m always doing a million things at\na time, I almost always have projects looming in the future that are weighing\non me because I can\u2019t get on top of them early on and I\u2019m not able to get to\nthem until right before they come due.&nbsp;&nbsp;\nSo I feel like I pretty much live in this constant state of stressing\nabout things I need to get done rather than enjoying what\u2019s happening in the\nmoment.&nbsp; It\u2019s been a problem my entire\nlife\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The older I get the more keenly aware I become of how\nimportant it is to learn to live in the moment rather than being in a constant\nstate of stressing about the future\u2026and yay for me for recognizing how important\nit is to change that\u2026but the truth is that recognizing it has proven to be far\neasier than actually changing\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m still working on changing for the better in this regard.\nI\u2019m trying to do a better job of doing things as far in advance as I can so I don\u2019t\nhave the worry of them hanging over me.
