Because vacations are\nour opportunity to throw normal routines out the window and give ourselves permission\nto venture out and do new things without feeling weighed down by any day-to-day\nexpectations, and without feeling the tremendous guilt of forgoing them. We\nallow ourselves to ignore the cell phone calls and the emails and focus on the\nright now.&nbsp; On vacations we give\nourselves permission to just have fun.&nbsp; And\nwe\u2019ve told ourselves its okay to enjoy ourselves\u2026by example, calories don\u2019t count\non when we are on vacation \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But going on vacation also takes a lot of work to plan, and\nit costs a lot of money to pay for.&nbsp; &nbsp;Still worth it?&nbsp; Absolutely!&nbsp;\nBut why is it we haven\u2019t considered bringing our vacation to us?&nbsp; Or better said \u2013 why don\u2019t we ever consider\ntaking a vacation right from our own home?&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just think about it. &nbsp;You could take a vacation without ever having\nto pack a bag or without spending money on flights and hotels.&nbsp; You could use some time-off work to take a\nvacation right from the comfort of your own home.&nbsp; You\u2019d get to sleep in your own bed and never\nhave to pack a suitcase. You could wake up each morning having given yourself\npermission to be on vacation, not answer the phone or the emails, and do fun\nactivities right at home or by going to visit places close to home.
