I\u2019m so excited to share an amazing thing I learned about that will literally transform your entire December!  And I wanted to hurry up and let all of you know about it today so you can sign yourself up to join me in it before we all start taking off for the Thanksgiving festivities this week, because this amazing movement starts next Sunday (December 1st<\/sup>) so be sure you get in on it now before you take off for the week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okay, so here’s how it works: All you have to do to join it is click on this website link <\/a>and enter your mobile number (or if you prefer you can choose to get daily prompts by email instead) so that starting December 1st and going through December 25th, you will receive a daily #lighttheworld text message containing a prompt for an act of service to do that day. Some examples of a daily prompt would be things like, “The next time you receive a text today, tell the person who sent it something you appreciate about them\u201d or \u201cCall your parents right now and tell them how much you love them\u201d and so on. These are easy to do acts of service that barely take a moment to do each day…yet their impact will be so much bigger than we can know… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What an amazing way to transform our December by making sure we are getting outside of ourselves and doing things that are going to change our own hearts and minds for the better, as well as the hearts and minds of those we serve throughout the month. I can’t think of a better way to honor the upcoming birth of our Savior Jesus Christ than by each of us becoming a little more like Him by serving others as He did. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
