{"id":12017,"date":"2019-12-13T01:13:46","date_gmt":"2019-12-13T07:13:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/?p=12017"},"modified":"2019-12-13T01:19:16","modified_gmt":"2019-12-13T07:19:16","slug":"a-songs-not-a-song-til-you-sing-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/a-songs-not-a-song-til-you-sing-it\/","title":{"rendered":"A Song&#8217;s Not A Song Til You Sing It"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\">\u201cA bell&#8217;s not a bell &#8217;til you ring it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\">A song&#8217;s not a song &#8217;til you sing it <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\">Love in your heart wasn&#8217;t put there to\nstay<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\">Love isn&#8217;t love &#8217;til you give it away!\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">&nbsp;-Oscar\nHammerstein<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>That poem was shared tonight at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetabernaclechoir.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Tabernacle Choir (opens in a new tab)\">Tabernacle Choir<\/a> Christmas Concert at Temple Square.\u00a0 For those of you who have never had the opportunity to hear the Tabernacle Choir singing live, trust me when I tell you is one of the most incredible things you will ever experience in your life\u2026and that is no joke.\u00a0 Not only are you completely enthralled by the talent of these amazing singers, but you\u2019ll find yourself covered in goosebumps with how powerful the spirit is that fills the room as they sing.\u00a0 You quickly recognize that you aren\u2019t just hearing the voices of the choir members up on stage but you are hearing alongside them the voices of heavenly choirs of angels from the other side that are standing next to them singing as well.\u00a0 Hearing them sing live is an experience you will never forget.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we sat there in the Concert Center\nwith 21,000 other people enjoying the show, the choir began singing The Hallelujah\nChorus from Handel\u2019s Messiah and suddenly 21,000 people rose to their feet and reverently\nstood as the Choir performed that incredible number.
