Living in the Washington D.C. area in high school I was all\nabout music groups like Erasure, The Cure, O.M.D., Depeche Mode, and the Smith\u2019s. Then my family moved to the Nashville Tennessee\narea during my Junior year of high school and I couldn\u2019t help but fall in love\nwith country too. I still remember the first country song I ever fell in love\nwith was Randy Travis\u2019 song \u201cForever and Ever Amen\u201d\u2026how could anyone not love\nthat song! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
County music has a way of telling stories like no other music can and it pulls you into the storyline its telling and pulls at your heart. Today I was singing another favorite country song called \u201cYou\u2019re Gonna Miss This\u201d written by Trace Adkins \u2013 as I sang the lyrics I couldn\u2019t help but think of the current lockdown situation we\u2019ve all been going through and thinking how even with as hard as this period has been for all of us there is some special things we\u2019ve been able to do during this period that we are going to miss\u2026like having more time with our families, not having to deal with traffic, getting to wear stretchy elastic waist pants every day, not needing to put on makeup or spend time fixing our hair, cooking with our spouses more often\u2026 As we are all pushing to have things open up again, and as excited as we are for that to happen, I have a feeling there are going to be things about this lockdown period that we are gonna miss\u2026so appreciate the time you have left at home in stretchy pants because before you know it you\u2019re gonna miss this\u2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
