Everyone can create.\u00a0 You don\u2019t need money position or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty.\u00a0 You might say I am not the creative type.\u00a0 If that is how you feel, think again, and remember that you are spirit children of the most creative being in the universe.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t it remarkable to thing that your very spirits are fashioned by and endlessly creative and eternally compassionate God?\u00a0 Think about it, your spirit body is a masterpiece, created with the beauty, function, and capacity beyond imagination.\u201d<\/p>\n

Creation is your opportunity in this life and in the life to come.<\/p>\n

Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t let the voice of critics paralyze you.\u00a0 You will make the world a better place.<\/p>\n

Improve.\u00a0 Beautify.\u00a0 Extend. Smile. Cultivate. Develop. Create.<\/p>\n

To say that I LOVE that quote would not begin to describe how much I liked it.\u00a0 I am such a believer in everything shared in that quote.\u00a0 So often I come across people who are afraid to try, or who think they are not good enough, or smart enough, or strong enough, and I want them to know that YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH!\u00a0 You are the very person to be and do everything that this life has in store for you.\u00a0 You are you for a reason.\u00a0\u00a0 You have your gifts and talents and abilities for a reason – to use them to make the world a better place.\u00a0 The only thing that will hold you back is those voices in your head telling you that you aren’t good enough, but they are wrong.\u00a0 You are good enough.\u00a0 You can accomplish anything that you set your heart and mind to.\u00a0 Yes it takes a ton of work and sacrifice and yes we often have to make choices that are trade-offs on what we will make our priority to get done that day.\u00a0 For example, I have a mother who has INCREDIBLE artistic talents.\u00a0 She is a published author, she writes poetry, she draws, she sculpts, she writes song lyrics…she is an artistic wonder…but for a good majority of her life she had to make a trade-off to put some of her abilities on hold while she raised ten children.\u00a0 Yes,\u00a0I did say ten.\u00a0 She was a full time mom and that was her life to take care of us kids for a lot of years.\u00a0 But now that her kids have grown up and left the house, she finally has the opportunity to pick up those talents and more fully develop them\u00a0in a meaningful way, even though her kids weren’t out of the house until her\u00a0sixties.\u00a0 She has published a book in the last year and she is now sculpting gorgeous statues.\u00a0 In fact we just had one of her clay molds bronzed into a statue of Ammon, who is a hero who was written about in the Book of Mormon as he was a great warrior and righteous man who protected the king’s flocks for him.\u00a0 Here is a photo of the statue:<\/p>\n

You are never too young or too old to create something AMAZING!\u00a0 Don’t hold yourself back\u00a0– use and develop every talent you have in this life.\u00a0 Don’t miss being all that you might become in this life…<\/p>\n
