{"id":1955,"date":"2012-11-29T19:25:41","date_gmt":"2012-11-30T01:25:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/?p=1955"},"modified":"2012-11-29T19:27:06","modified_gmt":"2012-11-30T01:27:06","slug":"in-memory-of-a-great-motivator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/in-memory-of-a-great-motivator\/","title":{"rendered":"In Memory of A Great Motivator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Those of you who know me know that I am a huge fan of great motivational speakers and I rely on their quotes and words to help inspire me on the days when I find myself getting down.\u00a0 Zig Ziglar is one of those great motivators who spent the bulk of his life lifting others up with his motivational words.\u00a0 Zig Ziglar, sadly, passed away yesterday from pneumonia.\u00a0 His inspirational example and words will be with us forever and I am truly grateful for the incredible impact he has had on my life through his speeches, his audio talks, his books and his quotes.\u00a0 In his memory I wanted to share some of my favorite quotes of Zig Ziglar that have lifted me up in my life.\u00a0 If you have others to add to the list of favorites please post them in the comments of today\u2019s blog. You can never have too many uplifting quotes :):<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of people have gone further than they thought they could because someone else thought they could\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuccess is the doing, not the getting; in the trying, not the triumph.
