Happy Birthday Rollin! Yes, January 10th is my better half’s birthday, and since the mailman made me get out of the mailbox I decided to instead take a moment to publicly wish him a very Happy Birthday and to tell the world that I consider myself the luckiest girl in the world to be married to such a genuinely good man. No he isn\u2019t perfect \u2013 in fact I have dedicated many a blog over the last five years to share some of the holes he has managed to dig himself into\u2026such as the time he told me (after being married for only a few months) that he was writing a book on loose\/loose situations to give to every single man to prepare him for all the crazy questions his wife would ask him someday, or one morning as he was kissing me goodbye while I was putting my make-up on he said \u201cyou look beautiful\u2026well, after you are ready\u2026\u201d (he swears it came out wrong), or there was the time he was dumb enough to answer my question \u201cwhen I put on weight, where does it show up first?\u201d which may have been the question that led him to start writing his book on loose\/loose situations :). So no, he isn\u2019t perfect, but no man is and neither are any of us women. But I have to give Rollin serious credit for being dang near close to perfect in every area of life that truly matters \u2013 he is a man of absolute integrity, he is kind, humble, caring, patient (clearly as he is married to me), and a great dad, a loving husband, an incredibly hard worker, generous, talented, a man of great faith, the first to help others, smart, and totally dedicated to doing what is right in his life. I could go on and on with that list of what makes him amazing, but the bottom line is that I am the luckiest girl in the world to have him as my sweetheart and my kids are the luckiest kids in the world to have him as their Dad. Oh, and even though it\u2019s not on that list of \u201careas of life that truly matter\u201d I have to say that he is one sexy man :), which is great icing on the cake. I am definitely a lucky lady.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody deserves someone who makes them look forward to tomorrow.\u201d \u2013 unknown<\/p>\n

I can honestly say that Rollin makes me look forward to all of our tomorrows together and I hope that he has the best birthday ever tomorrow! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!<\/p>\n

For all of you who are lucky enough to have found a \u201cRollin\u201d of your own \u2013 make sure you tell him (or her) how lucky you feel! And for those of you still looking, my advice is to WAIT FOR IT! Waiting for him to come into my life was the best decision I ever made :)!<\/p>\n
