There is little in life that is better than when a plan comes together, especially when the plan itself turns out to be far larger and expansive then any plan you had pictured in your own mind \ud83d\ude42 Throughout the years of my life I have learned that the plan in my head is usually nowhere near as large as the plan God has for me. You see I typically have the stick figure drawing of my future as the picture my head, while God has an entire masterpiece planned for my future\u2026..he is so much better at seeing my potential then I am, and I am so glad that I get the opportunity to be placed in that masterpiece He pictured rather than my little stick figure drawing!<\/p>\n<p>My life so far has been a crazy adventure.\u00a0 From starting my first business at the age of 23 to selling my last company MediConnect in 2012, to launching REES Capital in 2012 (my angel investment firm), to accomplishing one of my ultimate life goals of starting a charity with my husband and children called the IPOP Foundation (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipop.org\">www.ipop.org<\/a>) which stands for In Pursuit of Perfection, a charity focused on educating and empowering people to pursue entrepreneurship as a path to self-reliance.\u00a0 \u00a0When I think of all that has happened these past 20 years of my life I can only say WOW!\u00a0 Now that is what I call a plan coming together \u2013 mixed of course with years of hard work, plenty of ups and down, a fair share of failures, so many lessons learned, the amazing talents of so many people who were with me helping me along the way, and of course God\u2019s amazing hand each step of the way.\u00a0 As I look back with the benefit of hindsight, I can see that it could not have come together more perfectly than it did\u2026only it came together far differently than the stick figure drawing I had in my head\u2026seeing that has taught me to trust that what God has planned for us is far more of a Masterpiece than anything we could imagine for ourselves, so put your head down, go to work, and then trust Him to help make it happen!<\/p>\n<p>We are all so lucky \u2013 no blessed.\u00a0 We are all blessed.\u00a0 Every one of us.\u00a0 As we move forward with our lives, putting in the hard work, and adhering to the values of integrity and going the extra mile, life will continue to be blessed in ways we have not even begun to imagine.\u00a0 I am totally confident in that statement.\u00a0 Give life your best effort.\u00a0 Keep up your energy and your excitement and your enthusiasm every day.\u00a0 You are going somewhere.\u00a0 All of us are going somewhere.\u00a0 Somewhere incredible.\u00a0 Somewhere bigger than even I know how to describe to you.\u00a0 I just know its somewhere that exceeds anything you have pictured in your head\u2026and that is a great reason to be stoked!\u00a0 How cool is that!?\u00a0 I mean REALLY!\u00a0 Your life is making history that will forever change things in the future\u2026just you watch and see.\u00a0 I take that back\u2026don\u2019t just watch\u2026join in and make it happen!!!<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>~Amy<\/p>\n<p>PS.\u00a0 Friday the IPOP Foundation is holding a Mobile App Competition at Alta High (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipop.org\/alta\">www.ipop.org\/alta<\/a> ).\u00a0 We had about 100 ideas submitted by students at the school and tomorrow the top 1o will do a live pitch before a panel of judges and 800 other students to compete for college scholarships and the opportunity to see their app become a company!\u00a0 It&#8217;s going to be a great event!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ah yes, the famous words of Hannibal on the A-Team.
