I just love the way it reminds us to be grateful for what we have in life rather than allowing ourselves to focus on what we don’t have. It is so easy to see the negative until you stop and look at the positive. All of us fall into the trap of seeing the negative in life or the trap of focusing on what we don’t have rather than what we do have.

I love this time of year. Thanksgiving is a great holiday to remind us of all that we have to be thankful for and all that we should feel grateful about. May our week be filled with expressing thanks and feelings of gratitude!

~Amy

Several years ago my family and I were down visiting the small town of Bicknell, Utah with our dear friends. We went to a church meeting down in Bicknell back then and a very humble young man got up and gave a talk on perspective and gratitude that was awesome. In his talk he shared […]

[1
168,501,500,46,251,60,2778,240,640,2785,51,2782,996,93,2786,571,30,1954,244,65,55,180,2301,464,296,865,713,217,1746,134,143,2780,153,2781,27,112,1416,145,2783,1682,1330,272,238,260,2784,196,2779
post-4058","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized","tag-adversity","tag-appreciate","tag-appreciation","tag-attitude","tag-balance","tag-beautiful","tag-bicknell","tag-children","tag-cognitive","tag-express","tag-family","tag-farm","tag-father","tag-fear","tag-feeling","tag-focus","tag-gift","tag-google","tag-grateful","tag-gratitude","tag-happiness","tag-happy","tag-horizon","tag-joy","tag-lesson","tag-life-lesson","tag-mental","tag-negative","tag-optimistic","tag-perspective","tag-poem","tag-poor","tag-positive","tag-rich","tag-self-confidence","tag-self-improvement","tag-serve","tag-service","tag-sight","tag-son","tag-stars","tag-story","tag-thankful","tag-thanks","tag-thanks-dad","tag-utah","tag-wealthy
["GET
