Earlier this week I shared some thoughts on failure and how it is often our failures that end up leading us to the path of success in our lives.\u00a0 It reminded me of one of my favorite stories that perfectly illustrates the title quote from today\u2019s blog:\u00a0 \u201cSometimes when things are falling apart, they may actually be falling into place.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nisland. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned<\/span>
\nthe horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually<\/span>
\nmanaged to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the<\/span>
\nelements, and to store his few possessions.\u00a0 But then one day, after<\/span>
\nscavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the<\/span>
\nsmoke rolling up to the sky.\u00a0 The worst had happened; everything was lost.<\/span>
\nHe was stunned with grief and anger.\u00a0 “God, how could you do this to me!” he<\/span>
\ncried.<\/span><\/p>\n
\napproaching the island. It had come to rescue him. “How did you know I was<\/span>
\nhere?” asked the weary man of his rescuers. “We saw your smoke signal,” they<\/span>
\nreplied.<\/span><\/p>\n
