fit in when you were born to STAND OUT!\u201d  -Dr Seuss"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Too much time and energy in life gets spent trying to fit in\u2026trying to be seen as \u201cnormal\u201d.\u00a0 I personally think that normal is pretty boring. \u00a0\u00a0After all, why be normal when you can be exceptional?! \u00a0\u00a0When something simply \u201cfits in\u201d it is too easy to blend in, to go completely unnoticed.\u00a0 But when something stands out you cannot help but notice it.\u00a0 You cannot help but have your attention drawn to it.<\/p>\n<p>Now I am not talking about standing out in your physical appearance \u2013 I am talking about standing out with your character.\u00a0 I am talking about standing out by going the extra mile, by being extra kind and compassionate toward others, by living a life of integrity.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0And in today\u2019s world, those qualities will definitely make you a person who stands out.<\/p>\n<p>Every day we have the choice to STAND OUT.\u00a0 Every day we have the choice to focus on being amazing\u2026to go beyond the average or the typical\u2026.we have the choice to be EXCEPTIONAL.<\/p>\n<p>Why follow the crowd when you can be leading it?<\/p>\n<p>Why shoot for ordinary when you can be SPECTACULAR?!<\/p>\n<p>Be proud to STAND OUT!\u00a0 Be confident to stand up for what is right, even when you are the only one doing it.\u00a0 Don\u2019t lower your standards to fit in with the crowd.\u00a0 Instead, let your example be what lifts others around you to raise their standards to yours.\u00a0 Be a leader.\u00a0 Stop worrying about fitting in and start aiming to STAND OUT!<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow is my daughter Ashley\u2019s 18<sup>th<\/sup> birthday.\u00a0 I can hardly believe it.\u00a0 My baby is officially an adult.\u00a0 Time has gone way too fast.\u00a0 I literally can close my eyes and see my sweet little baby being handed to me immediately after I delivered her 18 years ago.\u00a0 I remember holding her that first time and staring in amazement at how perfectly beautiful she was.\u00a0 She was the most beautiful baby I have ever laid eyes on.\u00a0 She truly was.\u00a0 And sitting here tonight, 18 years later, she is still the most perfectly beautiful person I have ever laid eyes on, both on the outside as well as the inside.\u00a0 Today\u2019s blog is dedicated to my baby girl because of everyone I know in this life, she is the one who most prominently STANDS OUT &#8211; \u00a0with her amazing character, her unbendable values, her kindness and compassion, her charitable heart, and her confidence to stand alone for what is right \u2013 she is my example and my hero and no matter how old she gets she will always be my sweet baby girl \u2013 Happy Birthday Ashley!!!!<\/p>\n<div
