Uchtdorf’s talk on Gratitude and the power of gratitude in our lives. Also from that same session Elder David A Bednar’s talk on how to handle and appreciate the trials in our lives and use them to our advantage. And finally from that session the talk from President Thomas S. Monson on Kindness and the importance of being kind to others in life.

The truth is that every one of the talks, from every session, is amazing and inspirational. Whether you choose to fill up your tank with these talks or other motivational talks the importance is to remember that your gas in your tank is constantly going down and you have to make a daily effort to fill it back up with those things that are going to be positive motivators in your life. The impact on your success if you can do that will be tremendous.

Well, the afternoon session of conference starts at 2pm MST today and can be watched live at https://www.lds.org/general-conference/watch?lang=eng (multiple language translations available), so join me if your tank needs filling :). Otherwise enjoy downloading the talks later.

Have a great week and keep those tanks full!

~Amy

When my children were young I used to teach them the principle of filling up their gas tanks – our bodies and minds are like a car that is always running. In order to run we need gas in our tank. Even when the car is in idle and not driving forward it needs gas […]

[1
3890,3884,526,1151,2926,3886,3892,177,2141,164,3893,1792,83,178,51,2380,765,29,152,629,137,764,1455,3891,824,53,217,3885,3684,153,123,3889,774,827,3888,3887,3856,149,3883,483,3894,78,938,2524
post-4471","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized","tag-being-grateful","tag-bodies","tag-car","tag-charity","tag-church-of-jesus-christ-of-latter-day-saints","tag-constant","tag-dieter-f-uchtdorf","tag-discouragement","tag-download","tag-effort","tag-elder-david-a-bednar","tag-encouragement","tag-experience","tag-faith","tag-family","tag-gas-tank","tag-general-conference","tag-god","tag-impact","tag-inspiration","tag-kindness","tag-lds","tag-lds-church","tag-lds-org","tag-mind","tag-motivation","tag-negative","tag-negatvity","tag-overcoming-trials","tag-positive","tag-priorities","tag-prophet","tag-quotes","tag-religion","tag-religious","tag-right-track","tag-running","tag-success","tag-tank","tag-teach","tag-thomas-s-monson","tag-time","tag-value","tag-worldwide
["GET
