Welcome back!\u00a0 I hope all of you had an amazing Labor Day Holiday!\u00a0 So mine was awesome, mainly because my two children came home from college for the weekend to spend it with me and that was pure heaven!\u00a0 Oh my goodness how I value every second I get with them now.\u00a0 Saying goodbye to them tonight about killed me\u2026the tears made a comeback for sure\u2026but I am trying to stay focused on how excited I am for them to start this new chapter of their lives so I don’t completely fall apart again like I did last week…<\/p>\n
Speaking of new chapters of life, tomorrow is the Page One of Chapter One of a new Volume of life for me.\u00a0 It is an entirely new phase of life for me.\u00a0 Chapter One, Page One, Day One of Amy as an empty nester! Both kids have now officially moved out and tomorrow morning marks my first day of this new phase of life for me.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to see what will fill the pages of my first Chapter?!<\/p>\n
I will never forget the time I have had this summer to spend with family.\u00a0 It has truly been my greatest blessing in life to get that period of time to focus solely on my kids and my husband and I am never going to forget the memories we built together this summer.\u00a0 Closing the book on my summer is going to be hard but now it is time to full steam ahead on this new book that is about to begin.<\/p>\n
I start back to work again tomorrow morning.\u00a0 I am a little nervous to go back after having taken this summer off because I can only imagine how much has piled up for me to catch up on\u2026.yikes!\u00a0 But all I can do is look at this as a grand new adventure of life. I am sure it will have its challenges but I am certain it will have its rewards as well, so I am going to push aside my sadness of my kids leaving home and summer coming to an end and I am going to wake up ready and excited to face a new day, a new start, and a new adventure in my life.\u00a0 I have no idea what it will look like or where it will take me but what I do know is that it is happening, so I better get on board with it and make the most of it!<\/p>\n
And tonight I am going to try and remember two of Dr. Seuss\u2019s wise suggestions:<\/p>\n
