people change, things go wrong,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

just remember life goes on\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tonight as I was FaceTiming with each of my kids I couldn\u2019t help but appreciate that poem.\u00a0 They are both doing awesome at college, which makes me super happy.\u00a0 But at the same time I miss them a ton, which makes me sad.\u00a0 But then I realize how lucky I am to have them in my life as my children and how lucky I am to be their mom and to have had 18 years with each of them to help them grow and raise them into adults.\u00a0 I am sure I made a million mistakes as a mom but at the same time I learned from every one of them and they have helped me become a better mother and a better person.<\/p>\n

Yes, our lives have changed and they are all grown up now, but I am starting to catch the glimpse of how exciting their futures are ahead of them and how much fun it will be for me to experience watching it happen.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to see them complete their college educations, get married, and best of all \u2013 GRANDBABIES \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 That\u2019s right, I can\u2019t wait to be a Grandma someday, scratch that, a Glam-ma…Glam-ma just seems much more fitting to me \ud83d\ude42 .<\/p>\n

Things change\u2026we have to let go of things we love\u2026but we also gain so many new things to love\u2026It\u2019s still a transition phase for me but at least I can catch glimpses of the fact that life ahead is going to be amazing, even if it is amazing in different ways.\u00a0 No doubt I am getting older \u2013 heck my birthday is coming up this Sunday and I cannot believe I am already turning 35\u2026jk\u2026okay I may be a little bit older than that, but who is counting, right?!<\/p>\n

Life definitely goes on so let\u2019s all do our best to embrace it, live it, and LOVE IT!<\/p>\n
