{"id":5053,"date":"2014-10-13T21:34:56","date_gmt":"2014-10-14T03:34:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/?p=5053"},"modified":"2014-10-13T21:35:05","modified_gmt":"2014-10-14T03:35:05","slug":"worry-never-mind-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/worry-never-mind-it\/","title":{"rendered":"Worry&#8230;Never Mind It"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cWorry refers the thoughts, images and\u00a0emotions of a negative nature\u00a0in which mental attempts are made to avoid anticipated potential threats.\u201d \u2013 Wikipedia<\/p>\n<p>Worrying is all about the fear of \u201cwhat might happen\u201d and it is about as useless of a thing as exists!\u00a0 Seriously, worrying does absolutely NOTHING to make any situation better, ever!\u00a0 It truly doesn\u2019t. Yet we somehow all fall prey to letting it creep into our lives. And for what??<\/p>\n<p>Worrying does nothing but cause stress and anxiety and according to WebMD it also has a major effect on our health.\u00a0 It can cause everything from dizziness to fatigue to headaches and irritability.\u00a0 It can cause muscle aches, nausea, sweating, trembling, and twitching.\u00a0 It can lead to digestive disorders, premature heart disease, and even heart attacks.\u00a0 Holy cow!\u00a0 Talk about serious downsides\u2026with absolutely NO upsides!\u00a0 It should be the most obvious thing ever to not allow worry into our lives\u2026right?!\u00a0 But that is often easier said than done.<\/p>\n<p>So I decided to look for something that could serve as a reminder to myself that I shouldn\u2019t allow worry into my life and I came across an awesome little saying:<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>For every worry under the sun<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>There is a remedy or there is none.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>If there be one, hurry and find it.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>If there be none, then never mind it.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So perfectly said!
