Our dogs are beloved members of our family. \u00a0I have two of the cutest dogs in the world. Not only are they adorable, they are also incredibly smart. My husband gets the credit for training them. He is definitely the dog whisperer at our house and has taught our dogs to do about every trick you can imagine. Most recently he taught the dogs to play hide and seek with him and they play it all the time. It cracks me up to see how seriously all of them take the game\u2026including my husband. No question we love our dogs.<\/p>\n
In addition to loving dogs, we could all learn a lot of life lessons from our dogs. Recently I came across an anonymous posting called \u201cThings we can learn from a dog\u201d that is brilliant so it had to be shared with all of you. Here goes:<\/p>\n
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.<\/p>\n
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.<\/p>\n
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.<\/p>\n
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.<\/p>\n
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.<\/p>\n
Be loyal.<\/p>\n
Run, romp and play daily.<\/p>\n
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.<\/p>\n
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.<\/p>\n
When you\u2019re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.<\/p>\n
No matter how often you\u2019re scolded, don\u2019t buy into the guilt thing and pout\u2026run right back and make friends.<\/p>\n
When it\u2019s in your best interest, practice obedience.<\/p>\n
Let others know when they\u2019ve invaded your territory.<\/p>\n
Take naps and stretch before rising.<\/p>\n
Never pretend to be something you\u2019re not.<\/p>\n
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.<\/p>\n
On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.<\/p>\n
Yes we can all learn a lot from our dogs. Speaking of which they are beckoning me to come play a game of hide and seek with them so I am off \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
