In the movie The Imitation Game there is a line that really stood out to me, “Sometimes\u00a0it’s the\u00a0people\u00a0no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine.\u201d<\/span><\/strong> I loved that quote and I loved what the meaning of the quote conveys.<\/p>\n

To me it stands as a reminder of two things:<\/p>\n

One:\u00a0 We should never underestimate people. We should never pre-judge another person\u2019s abilities. So often in life it is those you might never expect that end up changing the world.<\/p>\n

Two:\u00a0 In addition to not discounting the worth of others, we all need to be careful to never discount our own worth. So often underestimate our own abilities. We assume things are too hard, or above our capacity to handle. We often stop ourselves from trying new things out of fear that we are not someone who could accomplish it. We don\u2019t give ourselves the credit that we may be that person that can do things that no one can imagine.<\/p>\n

\u201cClose your eyes and imagine the very best version of you possible. That\u2019s who you really are, let go of any part of you that doesn\u2019t believe it.\u201d<\/span> <\/strong>\u2013 C Assaad<\/p>\n

Every single one of us is born with different strengths and a different purpose to fulfill in our life. Every single one of us is capable of achieving amazing things. Sure our abilities and purposes are all very different from one another, and although some will be more obvious and public than others, each one is equally important. All of us should value each other\u2019s purposes equally and recognize each other for what we bring to the table. In addition, none of us should shy away from or minimize the value we ourselves bring to this world. We should embrace it and own it and excel at it.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world\u2019s problems at once but don\u2019t ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
