Even the most successful people in this world had to start somewhere. Often times I hear people express that they just don\u2019t know where to start. My answer to that is simple \u2013 Just Start Somewhere. The truth is that it doesn\u2019t really matter WHERE you start\u2026what matters is that you DO START.<\/p>\n
People can spend a lifetime thinking about a plan, writing it all down, planning out every detail, thinking through every problem, trying to consider every option and solution, all in the name of trying to figure out WHERE to start. They can literally waste their entire life planning and talking about where they will start\u2026.yet never actually starting at all.<\/p>\n
Then there are the people who don\u2019t have all the answers and who certainly haven\u2019t thought through every detail but they pick a direction and start moving ahead…<\/p>\n
Which of those two types of people do you think get further ahead in life?<\/p>\n
Think of it like this \u2013 Imagine that your life is freeway. You are sitting behind the wheel of a car ready to pull out onto the freeway. Now that freeway has all kinds of off ramps and intersections that lead to other freeways and without an exact map of where to drive you might feel a bit intimidated about putting your foot on that gas pedal and starting to drive that car. But the problem that until you put your foot on the gas pedal and at least start driving on the road you are never going to go anywhere at all!\u00a0 There is a saying that, \u201cGod can\u2019t drive a parked car.\u201d \u00a0So true! All the faith in the world isn\u2019t going to get you where you want to be until you put your foot on the gas and start driving. You have to be in motion\u2026heading somewhere\u2026and as you drive down the freeway you will see signs ahead that help you know which way to go and which turn offs to take\u2026and because you are in motion, God can help guide you on where you ought to go. All you have to do is get that car moving!<\/p>\n
It\u2019s great to have goals for the future. Anyone who knows anything about me would tell you that Goal setting is one of the most important things in life to me. But no matter how much we sit and plan out all the steps we need to take to achieve a goal, we won\u2019t get closer to reaching that goal until we START SOMEWHERE.\u00a0 And even if we study every map in the world before we put the foot on the gas pedal to drive toward our goal, we all need to recognize that no matter how much prep work we do, WE WILL STILL BE GETTING ON THE FREEWAY AT THE EXACT SAME ONRAMP!<\/p>\n
Today\u2019s challenge is to get on that onramp and start moving toward your goal. Don\u2019t wait to figure every detail out to start yourself moving. Get that car on that freeway, full speed ahead \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
