I shared this poem once before but I had forgotten all about it until I came across it today and it just seemed to reflect what I was feeling today so I wanted to share it again:<\/p>\n
As you travel through life<\/p>\n
there are always those times<\/p>\n
when decisions just have to be made<\/p>\n
when the choices are hard,<\/p>\n
and solutions seem scarce<\/p>\n
and the rain seems<\/p>\n
to soak your parade!<\/p>\n
There are some situations<\/p>\n
where all you can do<\/p>\n
is to simply let go and move on<\/p>\n
gather courage together<\/p>\n
and choose a direction<\/p>\n
that carries you toward a new dawn.<\/p>\n
So pack up your troubles<\/p>\n
and take a step forward<\/p>\n
the process of change can be tough<\/p>\n
but think about all the excitement ahead<\/p>\n
if you can be stalwart enough!<\/p>\n
There could be adventures<\/p>\n
you never imagined<\/p>\n
just waiting around the next bend<\/p>\n
and wishes and dreams<\/p>\n
just about to come true<\/p>\n
in ways you can\u2019t yet comprehend!<\/p>\n
Perhaps you\u2019ll find friendships<\/p>\n
that spring from new interests<\/p>\n
as you challenge your status quo<\/p>\n
and learn there are so many<\/p>\n
options in life,<\/p>\n
and so many ways you can grow!<\/p>\n
Perhaps you\u2019ll go places<\/p>\n
you never expected<\/p>\n
and see things that you\u2019ve never seen<\/p>\n
or travel to fabulous,<\/p>\n
faraway worlds<\/p>\n
and wonderful spots in between!<\/p>\n
Perhaps you\u2019ll find warmth<\/p>\n
and affection and caring,<\/p>\n
a \u201csomebody special\u201d who\u2019s there<\/p>\n
to help you stay centered<\/p>\n
and listen with interest<\/p>\n
to stories and feelings you share.<\/p>\n
Perhaps you\u2019ll find comfort<\/p>\n
in knowing your friends are<\/p>\n
supportive of all that you do<\/p>\n
and believe that whatever<\/p>\n
decisions you make,<\/p>\n
they\u2019ll be the right choices for you!<\/p>\n
So keep putting one foot<\/p>\n
in front of the other<\/p>\n
and taking your life day by day.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s a brighter tomorrow<\/p>\n
that\u2019s just down the road.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t look back,<\/p>\n
you\u2019re not going that way.<\/p>\n
