The fact is that those life lessons, if remembered, will help us all our lives, no matter how old we are.\u00a0 I love the words of Robert Fulghum:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Share everything.<br \/>\nPlay fair.<br \/>\nDon\u2019t hit people.<br \/>\nPut things back where you found them.<br \/>\nClean up your own mess.<br \/>\nDon\u2019t take things that aren\u2019t yours.<br \/>\nSay you\u2019re sorry when you hurt somebody.<br \/>\nWash your hands before you eat. .\u00a0.\u00a0.<br \/>\nWarm cookies and cold milk are good for you.<br \/>\nLive a balanced life\u2014learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.<br \/>\nTake a nap every afternoon.<br \/>\nWhen you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.<br \/>\nBe aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.<br \/>\nGoldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup\u2014they all die. So do we.<br \/>\nAnd then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned\u2014the biggest word of all\u2014LOOK.<\/p>\n<p>In his book by the same title he shares how these rules all apply to us as adults but just reading those short sentences above is enough to get your mind thinking about how you should apply those to life today. We all tend to view life as complicated, but what if it really is as simple as following those simple rules we learned as a child?\u00a0 Something to consider for sure&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>\u201cI believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief.
