Today I have been thinking a lot about the character traits that I admire most in people. I sat down to make a list of traits I see in a person I very much look up to in my life and here was the list that came to mind:<\/span><\/p>\n

Integrity – does the right thing, even when no one is looking<\/span><\/p>\n

Kind – treats everyone with kindness<\/span><\/p>\n

Hardworking = digs in and gets to work and doesn\u2019t stop til the jobs done<\/span><\/p>\n

Selfless – always willing to help serve others<\/span><\/p>\n

Humble – doesn\u2019t hold themselves in any higher regard than they do everyone else<\/span><\/p>\n

Courageous – never afraid to stand up for what is right<\/span><\/p>\n

Genuine – what you see is what you get, 100% authentic<\/span><\/p>\n

Trustworthy – can be counted on to follow through on commitments<\/span><\/p>\n

Caring – truly cares for others, both friends and strangers alike<\/span><\/p>\n

Loving \u2013 truly loves God and truly loves others<\/span><\/p>\n

The person I was thinking about when I made that list is my husband Rollin. Today happens to be his birthday and that is what led me to think about his traits I admire and respect most. As I was thinking about each of the qualities that he exemplifies in his life, the list above is what came to mind. After reading that list its easy to see why I respect and love him so much. I am so grateful for the example he sets for me and for our two children as well as everyone else that knows him. Rollin puts God first in his life and it shows in the way he lives each day with so much love and kindness toward others. I am truly blessed to have him in my life and I just wanted to wish him a very Happy Birthday today!<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a great exercise for each of us to sit down and make a list of the qualities you admire most in people you respect most in your life. Then go through the list and consider which traits you want to try and improve on in your own life. It\u2019s a great way to start off this new week.<\/span><\/p>\n
