Surround Yourself With People of Integrity."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When we surround ourselves with people of Integrity our lives are always made better. And by that same token, when we associate with people who\u00a0lack integrity\u00a0our lives will always be made worse. I refer to people who lack integrity\u00a0as Blessing Blockers.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout my career I have had the blessing of\u00a0associating with\u00a0many great people of integrity. They have always been a tremendous asset to my life and my life is blessed because of them.<\/p>\n<p>There have also been times throughout my career where I have found myself in association with individuals who, over time, proved to have a lack of integrity.\u00a0These\u00a0people have\u00a0proven to bring\u00a0nothing but misery into life. I call these people\u00a0Blessing Blockers because they not only <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">do not <\/span>bless our lives,\u00a0if we continue to associate with them once we become aware that they lack integrity they can actually\u00a0Block Blessings that might\u00a0otherwise have come into our lives.<\/p>\n<p>Experience has proven\u00a0that\u00a0there is absolutely no benefit to continuing an\u00a0association with anyone who shows a lack of integrity. With some people you can tell quickly that they lack integrity. With others it can take a little longer for their bad behavior to present itself, but inevitably their lack of integrity becomes obvious and when it does we cannot ever allow ourselves to dismiss it or make light of it. We cannot excuse it away or attempt to minimize it. Rather we need to recognize it for what it is, and then we have to be willing to stand up against it and then disassociate from it as quickly as we can in order to avoid being dragged down\u00a0by it ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>We have to\u00a0accept that we <u>cannot <\/u>control other people\u2019s bad behavior &#8211; but we <u>can<\/u> choose to do our part to try and stop their bad behavior and then\u00a0we can discontinue any further association with them.<\/p>\n<p>The quality of our lives will improve dramatically when we surround ourselves with people of integrity and walk away from those without it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #993366;\">\u201cYou\u2019re a product of your environment, surround yourself with the best.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We only have so many hours in a day and so many days on this earth, so why spend a single one of them around anyone who\u00a0lacks integrity and will inevitably drag us down? We must always beware of Blessing Blockers and when we come to recognize them, decide to walk away!
