The reason for that is that they always seem to create a feeling of darkness that lingers in the house and I cannot stand that feeling. It leaves you feeling heavy and yucky inside. It leaves your surroundings feeling dark and it leaves you feeling dark inside. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Now contrast that feeling to how you feel when you see something happy, like a Disney movie with it\u2019s happily ever after, or an uplifting show with a positive message. It makes the room feel brighter and it leaves you feeling lighter and happier. Everything is brighter. And what could be better than to feel dazzlingly bright?!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Anytime we are feeling dark and down we can combat that by surrounding ourselves with things that bring more light into our lives. Whether its positive movies, or television shows, or positive books or positive people \u2013 guaranteed they are going to help bring more light into your life \u2026after all, light is the only thing that can chase out darkness from your life. Light always overtake darkness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #993366;\">\u201cThere is no darkness so dense, so menacing, or so difficult that it cannot be overcome by light.\u201d<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">-Vern Stanfill<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">It\u2019s important to make sure we are actively filling our days with thing that are light because if we don\u2019t make those efforts the default is for it to fill with darkness. And it\u2019s important to pay attention to things that make us feel a sense of darkness in our lives and try to avoid those as much as we can.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Beyond chasing the light and avoiding the dark things of life, we should do our best to ensure that we ourselves are constantly giving off our own bright light with the actions and attitudes we exhibit. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Light makes everything better. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #993366;\">\u201cHealing comes when we choose to walk away from darkness and move toward a brighter light.\u201d<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">&#8211; Dieter F.
