I love that quote because all of us have had those moments of disappointment\u2026those moments when we had things all planned out in our heads so perfectly as to how they should go and then something unexpected happens and our perfect plans go completely off track. In those moments we can choose to fall apart and curl up into a ball and give up, or we can choose to believe that things went off track because God has something better planned for us\u2026an even more perfect plan then our limited minds could conceive of, and one that will leave us far happier than we would have been if our plans were carried out the way we thought they should have been\u2026<\/p>\n
That\u2019s what faith is all about \u2013 believing that there is a reason and a purpose in what is happening in our lives and that that purpose is to ultimately help us be the best we can be and find joy in that. It\u2019s about not giving up when things go differently than we wanted. It\u2019s about not allowing ourselves to walk around sad and withdrawn, but rather to lift up our heads and walk forward with a smile, really believing something better is just ahead\u2026<\/p>\n

I have never been good at being patient in my life.
