{"id":7654,"date":"2017-01-12T01:48:06","date_gmt":"2017-01-12T07:48:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/?p=7654"},"modified":"2017-01-12T01:48:27","modified_gmt":"2017-01-12T07:48:27","slug":"overcoming-a-midweek-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/overcoming-a-midweek-crisis\/","title":{"rendered":"Overcoming a Midweek Crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It has been such a long week already, so when I realized it was only Wednesday I wanted to curl up into the fetal position and cry a little\u2026.of course I say that at the end of being awake for 20 hours already today and I am not quite finished with my day yet until I finish writing this blog post, so yeah, that may be contributing a tiny little bit to my midweek crisis\u2026well that and the fifty million things I need to get done but still haven\u2019t yet (thus a 20 hour day today\u2026)\u00a0\u00a0 \u2026yikes!<\/p>\n<p>The funny thing about a midweek crisis is that it hits you both ways \u2013 you are bummed out that it\u2019s only halfway through to the weekend and you also start to have a panic attack when you realize you are already halfway through the week and have only accomplished ten percent of everything you need to get done still\u2026.of course it feels like a crisis!<\/p>\n<p>The only way I know to overcome a midweek crisis is to simply PRESS ON\u2026<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">\u201cNothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
