\u201cAfter a while I looked in the mirror and realized\u2026wow after all those hurts, scars, and bruises, after all of those trials, I really made it through. I did it. I survived that which was supposed to kill me. So I straightened my crown\u2026and walked away like a boss.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t even have words that can express how much that quote got to me. It made me reflect on how many things I have gone through in my life to get where I am today.\u00a0 All the trials and bumps and bruises, a difficult first marriage and a painful divorce, years as a single mom working my guts out so I could support my two kids, and trying and failing and trying and failing and trying yet again as I worked at building a successful company. I went through physical trials, emotional trials, and spiritual trials that felt like more than I could take. For all the \u201cups\u201d that I have in my life today, there were first countless downs that I had to go through to get where I am today. So when I read that quote it made my heart replay all those hard things I have been through and it felt almost more than I could bear\u2026but then I realized it\u2026I did it. I survived all of the horrible things I went through, and I okay\u2026I\u2019m better than okay\u2026so if you\u2019ll excuse me I need to go straighten my crown…LIKE A BOSS!<\/p>\n

No matter what hard things you have going on in your life right now, have confidence and faith, because you are going to get through them\u2026LIKE A BOSS!<\/p>\n
