{"id":8185,"date":"2017-06-25T17:00:09","date_gmt":"2017-06-25T23:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/?p=8185"},"modified":"2017-06-23T23:39:56","modified_gmt":"2017-06-24T05:39:56","slug":"we-are-the-only-one-who-can-make-our-dreams-come-true","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amyreesanderson.com\/blog\/we-are-the-only-one-who-can-make-our-dreams-come-true\/","title":{"rendered":"We are the only one who can make our dreams come true"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">\u201cI want to remember that no one is going to make my dreams come true for me\u2026it is my job to get up every day and work towards the things that are deepest in my heart\u2026and to enjoy every step of the journey rather than wishing I was already where I want to end up.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 -unknown<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes we feel stuck\u2026we start to wonder why our dreams aren\u2019t coming true\u2026and we wait\u2026we wait for something to drop in our laps or someone to knock on our door\u2026and we sit and wonder why our dreams still aren\u2019t coming true.<\/p>\n<p>If we want our dreams to come true we have to get off our behinds and start doing something that will MAKE our dreams come true. We have to come up with a plan and set goals that will help us achieve that plan. And then we have to get to work. Not just for a day or a week or a month but for as long as it takes to accomplish our dream. We need to treat making our dreams come true as our actual job \u2013 we need to show up on time, put in a full effort, learn from our mistakes, review our performance, pivot when necessary, and track our progress each day.
