Tonight I was asked to give a keynote speech to a group of entrepreneurs at Startup Ignition, a startup Bootcamp program for entrepreneurs. Truth be told as I was driving down to give my speech I was feeling exhausted from having had a very long week that has included dealing with some unpleasant things (as those following my blog can probably tell from the topics I\u2019ve written about the last three days of posts).\u00a0 But when I walked into the room of entrepreneurs and I stood at the front and began sharing lessons I have learned from my entrepreneurial journey it was as if all the stresses of the week just melted away and I became completely focused on helping to inspire those who had come to hear my talk.<\/p>\n

Being able to help other people through sharing the lessons I have learned and giving them the tips and tricks that helped me to succeed, which I know can also help them to succeed, is one of my favorite things in this entire world to do. I truly LOVE that feeling of knowing that all of the struggles I went through, and all of the mistakes I made before I was finally able to get it right in business, can be used to benefit the lives of other people. I can honestly say that nothing in this world is more fulfilling for me than spending my time helping others to excel. It brings me pure joy.<\/p>\n

Tonight was a great reminder of how much energy we have when we are doing what we love to do. Doing what we love to do is the best pick me up in the world. It\u2019s like getting shot of adrenaline that gives us boundless energy! Our stresses are forgotten and are replaced with passion and excitement. Which is exactly what happened with me tonight – My stresses were forgotten and even though I had needed to leave by 8:30pm I ended up staying answering questions after my talk until nearly 10pm without even realizing how late it had gotten because I was doing exactly what I love to do. And that brought me pure joy.<\/p>\n
