Sometimes there are projects or goals that are so big they seem like they would be totally impossible to accomplish. Especially as you start to think of every little thing that would have to happen to bring it to pass, all the stars that would need to align just perfectly, all of the hours of hard work that will have to go into it, and all of the possibilities of where things could go wrong and the odds that we might fail\u2026well, let\u2019s just say it is a wonder we would ever talk ourselves into taking those really big projects on or even consider setting those really big goals once we have thought through all those details.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s why if we ever really want to accomplish anything spectacular in life we are going to have to dare to jump! We are going to have to think to ourselves \u201cHere goes nothing!\u201d \u00a0And then literally just go for it!<\/p>\n
\u201cThinking here goes nothing<\/em> could be the start of everything.\u201d<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 -Drew Wagner<\/p>\n When we can say to ourselves \u201cHere goes nothing\u201d we are letting ourselves know that it\u2019s okay to go all in and give it our best try, accepting the fact that if in the end it doesn\u2019t work out the way we\u2019d hoped for it is still worth making the effort, regardless of what the outcome may be.<\/p>\n Regardless of what we may tell ourselves, the truth is that we can\u2019t control outcomes anyway\u2026not really\u2026we can only control our efforts. And we need to accept up front that, if, in the end, the outcome is different than we had hoped for going into it, it is all going to have worked out for our best good.<\/p>\n Life\u2019s greatest lessons are learned when we set huge goals, take on big scary projects, and then go for it with all we\u2019ve got. If the thought of a new goal excites you and scares you at the same time then it\u2019s probably worth pursuing. \u00a0Shoot for the stars baby!
