Unsuccessful people are asking, \u201cWhat\u2019s in it for me?\u201d \u201d<\/span> \u2013 Brian Tracy<\/p>\n<p>I have always been a big fan of Brian Tracy\u2019s books and trainings and I had come across that quote when I was still fairly young in business and it really helped me to realize that I never wanted to fall into the trap of worrying about \u201cwhat\u2019s in it for me.\u201d\u00a0 I tried instead to focus my thinking in business on what I could do for others because I believed that would, in turn, help me to succeed. And that ended up being exactly right. The more I focused on what I could do for others, whether it was focusing on helping my clients to be successful, or focusing on helping my employees to be successful\u2026I always found that the more I looked for opportunities to help others to succeed, the more successful I \u00a0myself became.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366; font-weight: bold;\">\u201cIn life, you get what you put in. When you make a positive impact in someone else\u2019s life, you also make a positive impact in your own life.\u201d\u00a0<\/span> -Marcandangel<\/p>\n<p>It may sound counterintuitive to some to focus on others instead of yourself when you are trying to get ahead in life, but trust me when I tell you that it totally works. \u00a0It works in terms of gaining monetary success and it works in terms of finding success in every other area of life as well.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366; font-weight: bold;\">\u201cAll of us are born for a reason, but all of us don\u2019t discover why. Success in life has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It\u2019s what you do for others.\u201d<\/span> \u2013 Danny Thomas<\/p>\n<p>Today don&#8217;t ask &#8220;What&#8217;s in it for me?&#8221; and instead try focusing your attention on what you can do for others.
