Do Good Anyway."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ve probably posted this particular poem before, but it kept going through my mind today and given that I always try to let my blog reflect something I learned that day I decided to share it again:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-weight: bold;\">ANYWAY<\/span><\/p>\n<p>People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;<br \/>\nForgive them anyway.<br \/>\nIf you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;<br \/>\nBe kind anyway.<br \/>\nIf you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true friends; succeed anyway.<br \/>\nIf you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;<br \/>\nBe honest and frank anyway.<br \/>\nWhat you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;<br \/>\nBuild anyway.<br \/>\nIf you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;<br \/>\nBe happy anyway.<br \/>\nThe good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;<br \/>\nDo good anyway.<br \/>\nGive the world your best anyway.<br \/>\nYou see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;<br \/>\nIt was never between you and them anyway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">-Kent M.
