When I heard his speech I was so impressed with how he stood up and openly shared his beliefs.\u00a0 This video contains a few snippets from his speech:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IrbvQRw9RSo?rel=0&amp;start=9\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Of the 9 points he shared here are the 7 I liked best (using the numbers he gave them in his list):<\/p>\n<p>\u201c1.\u00a0 Breathe. If you don&#8217;t, you will suffocate.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 You have a soul. Be careful with it.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t be a turd. If you are strong &#8211; be a protector. If you are smart &#8211; be a humble influencer. Strength and intelligence can be weapons, so do not wield them against the weak. That makes you a bully. Be bigger than that.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 It doesn&#8217;t matter what it is, earn it! It feels good. $5 bucks earned is better than $10 bucks given to you every time. If you feel like crap, look at your life, what you have that you didn\u2019t earn, then do something to earn it. A good deed. Reach out to someone in pain. Be of service. It feels good and it&#8217;s good for your soul.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0 God is real. God loves you, God wants the best for you. Believe that &#8211; I do.<\/p>\n<p>8\u00a0 Learn to pray. It&#8217;s easy, and it is so good for your soul. You just close your eyes, lift off people for which you are grateful, ask for protection for the people you love. Don\u2019t be embarrassed by it \u2013 you let people see it &#8211; It\u2019s good for their soul too.<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0 Nobody is perfect. People will tell you that you are perfect just the way that you are, you are not! You are imperfect. You always will be, but there is a powerful force that designed you that way. But there is a powerful force that designed you that way and It loves you and accepts you for exactly who you are. It forgives you for your flaws no matter what they are. And if you are willing to accept that, you will have grace. And grace is a gift. And like the freedom that we enjoy in this country, that grace was paid for with somebody else&#8217;s blood. Do not forget it.
