The day after a holiday is always a little rough. But guess what?! I just found out that the day after Labor Day is actually yet another holiday! Apparently its \u201cAnother Look Unlimited Day\u201d, which frankly I\u2019d never heard of before until today, but yeah\u2026apparently it\u2019s really a thing\u2026<\/p>\n
What is it you ask? Okay, so maybe you didn\u2019t actually ask, but I\u2019m going to tell you anyway. Another Look Unlimited Day is the day you are supposed to go through your house and get rid of the excess things you\u2019ve accumulated and donate them to someone who could use them \u2013 you can donate things to a family member, a friend, or your local Deseret Industries. It\u2019s kind of like Spring cleaning only without the heavy duty cleaning part, and with the declutter your life part. And you get to do a little good by giving to someone else in need.<\/p>\n
Go through your closet and pull out those clothes you haven\u2019t worn in a while – well, except for those skinny jeans you are saving to fit into some day\u2026getting rid of those would be like admitting defeat and heaven knows I am not about to do that. (Why do I think my daughter and daughter-in-law are about to fall in love with this holiday?)<\/p>\n
Check your playroom for toys no one plays with anymore.<\/p>\n
What do you have stored up in the attic or out in the garage that no one even remembers is\u00a0 out there?<\/p>\n
Remember your excess “stuff” can be someone else\u2019s treasure – so donate it!<\/p>\n
So there you have it.\u00a0 Don’t you just love finding out about a holiday you probably didn\u2019t even know existed? And doesn’t knowing there is a holiday the day after the holiday make you feel just a little bit better?\u00a0 Well, if that doesn’t, de-cluttering your life and donating the clutter to someone else is sure to!<\/p>\n
